The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz directed approval to host all those stranded in the Kingdom's airports from the GCC countries' citizens, until the appropriate conditions for their return to their countries are prepared.
The Saudi Press Agency stated that the directive was issued based on what His Royal Highness the Crown Prince presented, and it stipulates preparing all necessary procedures to host the Gulf brothers and honor them, providing comfort and care for them "among their family and brothers in their second country" until their return becomes possible and safe.
King Salman also directed all relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to implement the decision "immediately," ensuring a swift response to the situations of the stranded and providing the required services for them inside and outside the airport facilities as the situation demands.
