Young man accused of attempted murder after stealing an armored car and shooting in Brampton

The Peel Police charged a 19-year-old young man with attempted murder following a violent incident that occurred in Brampton during a car theft that escalated into a shooting, resulting in two men being seriously injured. 
According to initial data, the two men were inside a vehicle when two suspects tried to seize it, before the confrontation quickly escalated to the use of firearms. The shooting resulted in the victims being injured and transported to the hospital for treatment, with their condition described as serious. 
The police managed to arrest one of the suspects after the incident and charged him with a series of offenses, primarily attempted murder, while the second suspect remains at large, with ongoing search operations. 
This incident reflects the rising level of violence associated with car theft crimes in the Greater Toronto Area, where these crimes are no longer limited to vehicle seizure but are sometimes accompanied by the direct use of weapons and shootings.
