Israeli media reports indicated the fall of two dead and extensive destruction and fire inside a train station in Tel Aviv, following two missile attacks launched from Iran as part of a continuous military escalation wave between the two sides.
The reports stated that the missiles or their fragments hit sites in central Israel, leading to fires and damage to civilian facilities, including the train station, while ambulance and firefighting teams rushed to multiple sites to deal with the damages.
Successive attacks and aerial interceptions
Meanwhile, the Israeli Home Front Command announced the detection of a second missile attack targeting Jerusalem and other areas in the center of the country, amid loud explosions heard in the sky due to missile interception attempts.
The Israeli army confirmed that air defense systems were activated to counter the projectiles, noting that work continues to intercept incoming threats.
Wide mobilization
Data indicated that emergency teams headed to several sites in central Israel following the fall of missile fragments, amid a wide security mobilization and increasing fears of the expansion of the attacks.
Rapid field escalation
These developments come in the context of a rapid military escalation between the two parties, with continued exchange of strikes and an increase in the pace of missile attacks, which heightens fears of the confrontation expanding to a wider scope in the region.
