The Saudi national team suffered a heavy defeat against their Spanish counterpart with a score of 4-0, within the competitions of Group H in the 2026 World Cup.

The Spanish team entered the match strongly and succeeded in imposing their superiority from the first minutes, after Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the tenth minute, benefiting from speed and early offensive pressure.

Spain continued to dominate the course of the match, before Mikel Oyarzabal added two consecutive goals that strengthened the Spanish team's superiority, then the fourth goal came in the second half to settle the result definitively.

The Saudi team struggled to keep up with the Spanish pace, especially in terms of quick transitions and high pressing, while the technical difference was clear in creating chances and exploiting spaces.

With this result, Spain raised its tally to four points after drawing in the first round, while the Saudi team remained at one point, which it had obtained from its previous draw with Uruguay.

This loss puts the "Green" before a decisive test in the last round, as the match against Uruguay will be crucial to maintain its hopes of competing for a qualification spot.
