Washington —
The U.S. Department of State has renewed its call for U.S. citizens in the Middle East to exercise extreme caution and continuously monitor security developments, amid ongoing tension and instability in the region.
The department confirmed that several countries are still classified under Level 3 travel advisory, which urges citizens to reconsider traveling to them, while other countries and areas remain at Level 4, the highest warning level, meaning do not travel.
The U.S. Department of State pointed out that the security environment in the region remains complex and rapidly changing, requiring U.S. citizens to stay constantly informed of alerts and guidance issued by U.S. embassies and diplomatic missions.
This warning comes at a time when the region is witnessing successive security and military developments, amid concerns about the expansion of tensions and their impact on travel movement and security conditions in several countries.
The U.S. authorities also urged their citizens in the region to review their personal plans, ensure the readiness of travel documents and communication means, and comply with the instructions of local authorities and U.S. diplomatic missions.
The update reflects the continued caution adopted by Washington towards regional conditions, emphasizing that security assessments remain subject to continuous review according to field and political developments.
