Ontario School Bus Drivers: The Return Plan Does Not Protect Us from "Corona"

Some school bus drivers say they only received COVID-19 safety protocols weeks before the start of the semester.
 The drivers, represented by Unifor, will hold a press conference this morning to discuss their request for information about safety measures on their vehicles.

 The union says that many of its drivers are elderly and more vulnerable to the virus.
Ontario issued a school reopening plan weeks ago which will see students return to classrooms in early September.
 School boards were given permission to organize the start of classes over the first two weeks of the school year if they needed more time to prepare.
 Teacher and parent unions have expressed concern that the Ontario government's approach did not do enough to reduce class sizes and encourage physical distancing.
