The most expensive pizza in Italy at "2000 euros".. 144 hours to prepare

In honor of the art of local gold crafting and to revive the sector, one of the finest types of pizza in the world was born in Italy, the "Figazza Luxury" pizza made from caviar and edible gold, priced at 2000 euros.
The idea of making the "golden pizza" was born by Dino Forlin, owner of a young restaurant and the owner of Forlin Pizza in the city of Casola in the Veneto region in the north of the country, to celebrate the excellence of the local goldsmith, on the occasion of the launch of the Voice 2020 exhibition (the international exhibition for gold, jewelry, silverware, and watches) in the city of Vicenza, according to the Italian site "vicenzatoday".
Forlin makes the 30 cm golden disk "pizza of luxury" after fermenting the dough for 144 hours, from two types of caviar or black pearls, which are Beluga Royal Caviar and Alaska caviar, Burrata cheese (Italian cow's milk cheese made from mozzarella and cream), and 260 milligrams of edible gold, from sheets and powder.
The golden pizza is baked only with a reservation at least one week in advance, and it is served with gold-plated cutlery surrounded by a dedicated box, for the 2000 euros.
Commenting on the "gold pizza," its maker Forlin said: "This is my contribution and my wish to revive the sector that makes us internationally distinguished, and this is my way to celebrate Vicenza, which has been home to the activities and success of my family’s restaurants for three full generations."
