The martyrdom of the brother of the editor-in-chief of Arab Canada News in Rafah

The Israeli drones targeted a number of innocent civilians on the morning of Tuesday, September 8, while they were seeking winter clothing among the ruins of their destroyed homes. As a result, several innocent civilians were martyred, including the Palestinian police major Iyad Al-Sha'ar, the brother of the editor-in-chief of Arab Canada News.

It is worth mentioning that the family of the editor-in-chief of Arab Canada News, along with their siblings and children, are still present in the Gaza Strip, moving from one tent to another amid the tragic and difficult circumstances faced by the people of Gaza as a result of the savage war imposed by Israel upon them, which has led to genocide and killings that do not distinguish between innocent civilians and militants belonging to the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip.

The Arab Canada News family extends its sincere condolences to the editor-in-chief, Mr. Zahr Al-Sha'ar, who confirmed that his brother, with his martyrdom, has achieved the highest ranks and honors that a Palestinian aspires to.

He expressed his wishes for an end to this aggressive and offensive war that the Israeli occupation army has been waging for more than a year, in order to prevent bloodshed and preserve human life and dignity.

He noted that the humanitarian conditions experienced by the people of Gaza are extremely tragic, and the international community must take its role seriously to stop this unjust savage war that has targeted stones, humans, and trees, resulting in the martyrdom of tens of thousands of Gaza's citizens and the injury and loss of tens of thousands more.
