Man fights for life after collision of two vehicles in south Ottawa

Ottawa police are looking for witnesses after a collision between two vehicles that occurred Monday afternoon on Hawthorne Road near the Leitrim area, resulting in serious injuries.

The police said the accident happened just before 3 p.m., with two people transported to the hospital following the collision.

Paramedics confirmed that a woman was seriously injured but is in stable condition, while a man in his forties remains in critical condition in the hospital.

The police are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has footage from a dashcam or surveillance camera in the area to contact investigators.
