Toronto —
R.J. Barrett led the Toronto Raptors to an exciting 112-110 overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, after scoring a decisive three-pointer 1.2 seconds before the end, forcing the series to a decisive seventh game.
The crucial moment came after it seemed that Cleveland was on its way to an away win, before Barrett received the ball and shot from beyond the arc, with the ball bouncing on the back rim before settling inside amid great celebration in the stands.
The Raptors had entered the final quarter leading by 11 points, but the Cavaliers gradually returned to the game and managed to force overtime, before Barrett decided the match in the final moments.
Scottie Barnes finished the game with 25 points and 14 assists, while Barrett and Jacoby Walter each scored 24 points, compensating for the absence of several key Toronto players due to injury.
On the other hand, Evan Mobley led Cleveland with 26 points and 14 rebounds, and Donovan Mitchell added 24 points, but the team missed crucial opportunities in the final minutes, including Mobley’s last attempt which failed after Barrett’s three-pointer.
The series now moves to Cleveland for the seventh game, after each team has managed to maintain its home advantage so far, with the next match determining the team advancing to the next round of the playoffs.
